Where's everyone riding this weekend?
The reason I'm asking is that this time tomorrow I should be in Wales! Woo hoo![:D]
Sorry, having trouble focusing at work! I'm off to a gig tonight, going to see Wolfmother, then early tomorrow morning me and five mates are heading to Wales for the weekend. Hopefully riding the Marin trail tomorrow afternoon, Snowdon on Saturday morning, Penmachno (I think) on Saturday afternoon then somewhere else (I've forgotten!) on Sunday. I really can't wait! [:D]

Lily, the Marin Trail is at Gwydyr Forest, which I believe is north Wales.
Fozzy, sounds like we're totally the other end of Wales. Cwm Carn's south Wales I think and we're based in north Wales for the weekend. Bit of a shame really as it would have been good hooking up.

Yeah, bit of a bike test for us too. Bar a trip to the Peaks at Easter, this will be the first real test of my Hustler, a mate's Heckler and another mate's Orange Patriot. Should be a cracking weekend!

Yeah, the ones in the field [:(] Its kinda public land (well, its got a stile going into it, for walkers), so theyre techincally not doing anything wrong being there, but they are *****y little idiots.
At least we'll be able to hit them over the head with our shovels/poke them in the eyes with a fork if they come when we're diggin... [:)]

No, not offended. [:)] I know the UEA well, many a drunken night spent there (actually off there tonight, for a gig)! I live a few miles outside Norwich but I'm not Norfolk born and bred (originally from the Midlands). It has its good points around here but it's not that exciting. As for mountain biking, it's really very tame. There's a couple of decent jump spots locally but the only real trail riding to be had is 30 miles down the road, at Thetford. Whilst there's some great fast flowing singletrack there, it's not that technical and there's no real hills. Hence I'm so excited about getting away to Wales for a few days! [:)]

Off to Scotland for the first time in September. A group of us are going up to check out the World Champs but hopefully we'll get a couple of days riding in too.
