    i doubt very much that the eddys coming off tower bridge will be strong enough to hold you under tbh. i've done alot of whitewater canoeing and it takes a very strong eddy to actually keep you under. The odds on the thames moving fast enough to create this sorta feature are incredibly unlikely.

    jump off upstream side of bridge, re appear downstream


    best place to jump is from the middle of the opening bit, its over the deapest bit of the river = more water to land in

    widest span = slacker currents

    as you say, you'll have a boat to get you out.

    you 98% will be fine.

    wetsuits give a bit of boyancy to you, dont panic, your body will naturally start going for the surface
