That a stage in each GT for Remco
Showed why he's the world champion, Pog showed why he's GC favourite. Jonas limited his losses pretty well.
I've been feeling 35" would be what Jonas lost today so not too far out.

Well, nobody has lost the Tour today.
I suspect Sunday will be more selective.

Have they said what Remco's problem was?

I think he unshipped his chain, but managed to get it back on without really slowing much.

Thankyou. I was watching on Italian tv so no understanding of the commentary.
I guessed it was either that or a slow puncture

Evenepoel thought he'd punctured. Hit something and the sound made him think he'd flatted.

Looked like he was testing a tire when he bounced the bike a bit

Missed this for not good reasons - twitter is failing me does anyone have the finishing gaps and gc?
would appreciate it

@No_Ta_Doctor any idea what stages Vingers expects to win time? Seems like his plan is about losing as much time as possible and do a Lazarus style come back, judging by his post-stage comments…..

Err, he's lost time on two stages and is only 1'15" down. There are plenty of mountain stages left - and the final TT - if he finds his legs.

We could see massive reversals in the last 3 stages

Listening to The Cycling Podcast episode from yesterday's stage, and I think Mitch Docker made some very good points on Visma-LAB's race strategy, in that they seem convinced that Vingegaard will improve as the race goes on which he isn't so certain about. He missed a big block of training due to his injuries and, as we saw last year, a rider can rush to get in good enough shape to be at the front of the race early on, but suffer for it later as they don't have the endurance for three weeks. He also thinks Vingegaard is vulnerable on descents.
It'll be interesting to see how it shapes up.
