Was going to say the same. top part very quick, then technical lower down.amrushton said:Stupidly fast descent coming up into Bourg
Last year AG2R were going down as we rode up and had a hare off the front. They were flying.0 -
Jonas looks a bit tight on the pedal tbh ....but I think they are all hurting"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. Is it me, or does Vingegaard look a little bit off it as well? Possibly wishful thinking, but..."If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. (it's around this point - going the other way I confess) that you needed to start prepping a bus of English youths that they were in fact definitely going to a barely known, very French ski resort rather than one of the mega resorts like everyone else in the traffic jam so Msr. Le Gendarme would let us through the road block...)We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Simon Geschke is on a daring solo lanterne rouge attack, 18 minutes behindWarning No formatter is installed for the format1

So is the front group a breakaway or has the yellow jersey group been dropped by the peloton0

Position for the descent, which i'm told is dodgy as f***rick_chasey said:WTF are AG2R up to.

Bernal hits the deck on the very first bend"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Bernal down but seems OK. I always gety nervous when he has a crash. The stripe down the back of his shirt really accentuates how crooked his back is.0
-
It certainly looks testing and not very forgiving with walls on the outside of bends.No_Ta_Doctor said:

I think the position of the radio on his back under the jersey also makes it look like his back is more curved than it actually is, stretching the fabric causes the blue line down the centre to get pulled to the leftPross said:Bernal down but seems OK. Tough for the camera bike to get a big enough gap between bends to avoid getting in the way on the corner itself.0

Still pushing. Very confused.No_Ta_Doctor said:

Tight hairpins. And loads of them.
One of the guys in our chalet in 2019, had a front tyre blow out on the descent, and his tyre wrapped around his axle. He stayed upright somehow, but bailed out of the etape at Moutiers!0 -

Calling ITV…
I dunno, Hatch would be calling it a stage for the ages 5km into the climb. At least there's no roundabouts on the bike path...0 -

Only 28kms to the top!
