Not sure why Ineos are suddenly worried about 8th on GC.

Also Rodriguez only another minute in front in 4th, so likely protecting that as well.

Well, regardless of the race I'm making Claremont Ferrons the base for my next trip to France...

Clermont-Ferrand? That name rings a bell - one of my clients had an explosion at their site there.......

Sad to see Bernal turning himself inside out to protect Pidcock’s 8th place on GC.

Ewan could be in trouble at the back - 29 minutes down with the last climb still to do.

Actually should be OK - time limit will be well over 40 minutes.

Cofidis, yikes. Would not have put money on two stages before the second rest day.

Did anyone else know that Wout Poels was at the Tour? Also, is he aware that he no longer rides for Ineos?

Doesn't want Pinot getting too close to Bilbao.

    I guess it made sense.

The last year of of an actual economic depression was 2008, so this win now confirms 2023 is another.

We're so lucky - we've had yet another 'one of the great days in the Tour De France'. We must have had around 40 of those in the last 3 editions.

About 34 minutes behind at the top of the climb (the live timing goes funky once the stage is won, so no idea what it is now). Shouldn't lose too much on the remaining short efforts.
