    Lidl trek pretty active still.

Looks like the chase group will make the lead group. Pretty heavyweight 6some.

Fairly interesting if you think the start of stages are; Fred Wright right currently trying to start another move out of the reduced peloton. Taking 7 riders with him.

    Do your own Carlton commentary:

Make a dad joke and laugh at it
Read out the entire start list and suggest each as a possible winner
Vocalise an imagined conversation between Vingegaard and Pogacar. Chuckle to yourself about it
    Shout inane cliches
Shout that van Aert's attacking when it's clearly Laporte
Get excited about Simon Yates moving up the bunch as if it's the race winning move

You would think they had a rest day tomorrow, not a flipping huge mountain.
    Much confusion over Jumbo tactics.

Commentary team reckon Caleb Ewan will struggle to avoid hors delay.

Ewan currently six and a half minutes behind what I assume is today's autobusm nearly fifteen minutes down on the leaders who are still happily kicking lumps out of each other. Only has De Buyst with him.

Campanearts tries to shake loose out of the reduced peloton and lidl are following every move; this time Stuyven joins.

Fred Wright follows MvdP to bridge up, and then the peloton responds accordingly.

Have you set it to ambient sound by accident?

It's weird - properly lumpy, but with proper climbs to come. The ones who can do well for the next 30km aren't the ones who will thrive on the following 30km.
  • Have they given up with the team radio stuff while there's action?

They should give up on it because there's never anything interesting.

Half the stage done, but it looks like we finally have our break.
    Nothing guaranteed though

I think it's unlikely he's not in the same group as Vingegaard by design.

I had this a few days ago then realised I'd somehow switched to ambient sound (in case you don't know if you hover on the bottom right there's an icon like a speech bubble and if you click that you get a choice of ambient or English).

I think this is what has happened, but I can't see any way of changing it, it's not been an issue before. The website says there's a settings button but I can't see it on the iPad, but they have added a key highlights thing that wasn't there last week.
