28km to go? asking, not suggesting.

Yes, that would give you all the main action.

Yeah, bottom of the final climb is going to cover most of the important stuff.

Last 5 km, but you should definitely watch

I'd go longer for a bit of context to be honest.

Definitely more than 5km. 20km or so gives you time to get a feel for the situation, 12km is about as close as I'd start to the end of the stage.

A minimum of 80 kms to go today, I think.

    Advice on today's stage?

I only saw the last 30km and didn't feel like I'd missed anything, if that helps?

Although the first two hours could have been a carnival of attacking and an unexpected outbreak of velociraptors for all I know. I think somebody would have mentioned it post race.

As much as you've got time for.

I started with 150km to go and missed stuff.
  • Blimey. Right, better dig in for the long haul

For all the complaints about the parcour I Thought this was an amazing race.
A war of attrition yes, but an amazing race.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I think last 150k to really get a feel for what happened - if you don't have that time watch as much as you do have time for.

    Repost in correct place...

(I'm going to risk putting my head above the parapet here, but if you know the result already, I think 170 is far too far. All you need is the last 2 laps to see how the finish played out. I would feel free to use liberal amounts of the +15s button if I were you...)

Everything from re-start after the protest is worth watching. There were some lulls in the action, but not many and once they reach Glasgow, Denmark threw jet fuel on the already not so slow burning flame.

Yeah - could just watch the last 30km to see the action, but watching from about 150km to go gives the context of the race. And the mind-boggling number of accelerations/power climbs/attacks.

I think the right answer to get a proper feel for it, watch Gibson Street to Park Circus and the Montrose Street climb to the finish each circuit from 110km onwards.
