Last 50km I guess? And the first 80km.

That's about right, you can skip the 38km betweenkingstongraham said:Last 50km I guess? And the first 80km.

What a ridiculous sentence, there were only 38 out of 169 km that can be skipped todayNo_Ta_Doctor said:

I guess they didn't start until a bit after the official km0, so nothing happened there.0

I'm guessing today will be either from, 62km out, or perhaps 45/42km, just near the top of the penultimate climb, and before the descent.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

The really time poor can just watch it from the bottom of the Grand Colombier, surely? Grab the opening skirmishes if you've got time / patience rather than anything in the middle.2

Also a bit dodgy, as an answer.
Not really sure which bit of the stage I'd drop tbh. There was quite a lot going on, even when there wasn't much going on. Even the less exciting bits had a lot of "reading the runes" to predict the future about them

You'll get a sense of what has happened already from the commentary team, but the opening 100 kms had no influence on the eventual outcome.No_Ta_Doctor said:Also a bit dodgy, as an answer.

Maybe. I'd give the first 50 a watch - with a fast forward here and there, as I think that was probably quite influential and gives you the gist of thingsandyp said:

Starting skirmishes (dipping in and out?), fast forward once the break get a good advantage so you understand the discourse for rest of this tour, then depending on how much time you have available you can skip to the final climb from 15km out or start watching in earnest before then for some interesting but ultimately non-critical moments.2

I would try and find the big crash, as it allowed the big break to get away. I think it happened around the 60km mark.daniel_b said:Could I ask the usual question please?

Then you can quite happily jump to around 55kms to go. That's half way up the Croix Fry."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.1 -
^ Ta. On catch up, just got to 15km. 👍0

Guessing for the last few starters today then0

Watch the early starters for the white line chaos, and then yeah, as many of the usual suspects as you can swallow. The start of WVA's ride probably as good a point as any.1
