Philipsen from Ewan? Cav about 4th. Loads of little crashes on what should have been a relatively easy section of the course.

Cav left with too much in the wind ....

Cav went to take the wrong wheel and ended up in the wind.

    Nope.... :(

He might need to cash in a few more Team GB chips in Paris I think...

    Yeah.

Ewan didn't seem to have his usual position?

Cav was never really in the right position, got boxed in a bit then tried to take MvDP's leadout.

    Loads of crashes!

Might need some better legs, he was alongside Ewan at one point.

Got blocked as he went to change the wheel he was following.
Too much of a crash fest on the circuit.

The uno x lead out rider caused the last one when drifting back.

He briefly freewheeled to try to get onto the Alpecin train and missed it. Bol did well again a few kms out but he needs a final lead out.

Amazed all those crashes only involved 2 or 3 riders, I guess that's where the width of the track did help.

Can't really see on the overhead because it swings back to the crash but it looks like he sets off on the far left at roughly the same time as Ewan and loses ground when they're both in the wind.

The two in the final crash hit the ground hard, you can really see their heads bounce in the slow mo but luckily they didn't seem to hit the ground. Amazing how quickly they were back on their feet.

What did van der Poel do to get himself relegated from 16th to 22nd place? Missed it completely.
