No, if yesterday's any guide, they'll be motoring by then.

Philipsen takes the intermediate sprint. Cav had a little go, maybe checking his legs for later.

Cosnefroy and Delaplace in a random, pointless attack.

Everyone is giving it a go, because the Sagan/van Aert types aren't. Couple of good results and a bad day in the mountains for someone else and you're in Paris in green.

Think Mads P is the only one thinking of riding out and targeting it

I'm not immediately gripped by this stage because there's two people out on their own. We all know how it ends.

It's fine for some stages to just happen in the background.

The EF bus briefing showed they didn't expect anything much today - take it easy today, get to the finish, eat and drink all day.

I'm holding out hope that the wind will play some part later on the changes of direction.

The gates to the entrance mentioned on race coms are seriously narrow, BTW, they showed them on DK tv2. Just under 3km out, will be bloody dodgy

I assumed they would be removed when I saw them earlier.

They just showed the Ineos bus driving the circuit. I think that's an old friend / clubmate of mine driving, he moved from being a soigneur to bus driver on the team last year (sells excellent coffee beans too).

There seemed to be two sets, one into the track grounds and one onto the circuit. Both looked far dodgier than a sensible race organiser would allow.

The Danish tv guy is a current pro rider, he said he rang straight to Adam Hansen

This probably the other one then:

Worth it for the glamour of the location.

Anyone know a link to watch the end of today's stage? I'm on a ship in the middle of the Pacific (with Starlink) and so ITVX won't work

Just tuned in - 21k to go, no break, teams bunched across the road! Looks like I didn't miss anything then.

I want to leave the office in 30 mins so they best get on with it.
