Riders going for a pee in the neutralised section.

Could you not have gone before you left?

Signing on and corporate hoo ha takes time.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Was Kopecky so smashed she couldn't bridge over the final 10 seconds? There was a Longo Borghini attack she covered with ease and she could have countered immediately and then been in the leading group. Some risk in bridging others over as well, but they'd have still been 2 SD Worx in the final group with Kopecky having a leadout for the bunch sprint.
Seems strange to me to have put in so much effort before and then play it so passively in the final.

I think the rider that crashed is supposed to be a decent finisher and she'd had a relatively easy ride.

I suppose it looked like it would come together until late enough that Kopecky would have had to put in too big an effort to close it - there were some fast riders in that chase group and dragging them across when you've already got a good option up front ...

    Speaking of Dutch Brains...

One of the dudes I rode with in NL was a doctor who was on call at times. His job was to go out to a fatal accident quick smart and remove the brain of the deceased so it could be used for research.

    ...interesting guy

Robbie McEwen seems to be very impressed with P-R having more elevation gain than Gent-Wevelgem

Two clear by 8 seconds. They don't want to be in a two man break. Might be a target for a decent break though.
