I did, but you generally need to be quite far to the left to want to make that point.

Do you fancy arguing that this is balanced, or perhaps even left-leaning?
The 16 non-MP panellists with the highest number of appearances on Question Time in the 21st century evidences a preference for outspoken, provocative, divisive, controversial, and often ideologically extreme right-wing guests (12 of the 16 are explicitly right-wing):
- Rod Liddle – 9
- Max Hastings – 9
- Camilla Tominey – 9
- Kate Andrews – 11
- Tim Stanley – 12
- Isabel Oakeshott – 13
- Fraser Nelson – 4
- David Starkey – 12
- Bonnie Greer – 13
- Ian Hislop – 14
- Julia Hartley Brewer – 17
- Janet Street-Porter – 19
- Peter Hitchens – 23
- Piers Morgan – 24
- Melanie Phillips – 28
- Nigel Farage – 35

What side you accuse the bbc of being bias towards is merely an indicator of what side you support.
Broadly comedy leans left and news right. In general it's likely that satire will be anti government and the news will appear more supportive.
I suspect QT has so many right wing blowhards on it because they generate viewing figures.

I realise that. Given he's an academic, it's no surprise.

One might speculate that some have better things to do than appear on QT.

Possibly. I think 10 years ago or so, it was a somewhat worthwhile show. I'm not sure anyone really watches it now.

The bits I've seen recently don't seem to be very illuminating, and I don't take to Fiona Bruce's habit of lengthier interventions compared with her predecessors, if my memory isn't playing tricks.
A quick check suggests that Robin Day saw himself as a chair/moderator, not as an interviewer (despite the fact that he was a superb interviewer).
