    Froome klaxon!
For real this time, he's going on a potato hunt

Yep - he won't get across in time, leaders 1km from the top or thereabouts

    That scenery...

get time to look at it from this side. Coming down it's as fast you can/dare go. No real bends just curves until you get near the top

WVA going slowly. He must be caught in Froome’s vortex

Is Froome the rider that would most piss off the French if he won on the Alpe on Bastille day? Or has he been rehabilitated?

Think we should probably have mentioned that Perez went solo some while back. He took the mtn points

I assume Froome's brief is just to get some TV coverage for the sponsors. Going nowhere.

Latour makes a strange attack at the very top, KoM points? I've lost track of how many are up the road.

In contrast to all the fat bloke posts yesterday, I can say that this descent is just glorious!

Have had the pleasure of following Tom around various corners in Otley/Ilkley/Pontefract town centres. Glorious to see him in full flight here

Absolutely no way Pidcock didn't go "Come on Froomey" as he went past then...

Apparently he missed it on the way past, so sat up to wait for him.

Not sure i took a breath watching Pidcock descending then, very contrasting styles descending next to Froome.

I assume Pidcock decided it was worth having Froome to share the work into the wind after the gradient seemed to flatten and road got straighter. Before that he looked like he was just having fun and was probably shouting 'weeeee' as he flew past others.
