Considering there’s a high probability that Saturday’s mountain will be cancelled, there’s not much racing going on behind.

It must be hard to keep going if you are the only person left in the team, need to be pretty determined.

He did well today. Only a few seconds behind the Roglic group and now 11th on GC

Quite incredible the number of riders that disappeared from the race between the end of stage 4 and the finish of stage 5.

They are fortunate in the respect that today's stage while longer, isn't as tough as yesterday's.
    Stage 6: Courthézon - Aubagne 214km

    Bit of a snooze... ?

Has been since the hit the hills. Jumbo saw to that in the first two days of the race.
At least Mathieu Burgaudeau made the final few kms worthwhile. So pleased for him taking the win, as too many sprinty types wanted to keep their noses out of the wind until the last 150 metres.

Anyone know the current conditions? Weather forecast has it being on the rather chilly side (feels like is around -6/-8)

Both WVA and Steven Kruijswijk have already been put into difficulty and so far they have only tackled the one minor climb.
Dennis is going have to earn his crust if that’s the case.
Change of team but no change in role…..

What's going on with WvA then - is this from his crash? I'm assuming he's not taking any chances coming into the classics.

How unusual: Roglic sprints from 200 metres to take the win.
    Yawn.

    Hugo now 14th.
Good to see his bus was ready for him at the bottom of the climb.
Strange seeing the Yates twins in the same race.
