Morning, nice start to the day, dog already walked, so after nearly four weeks off the bike I thought I would ride 10 miles yesterday, with it being such a nice afternoon I carried on and managed 30 felt so good again to get back out on the bike
Have a good day

    Great news re bike LD

Can’t sleep so might as well take the hounds out early and fit in a recovery run.

Hopefully today will be more pleasant than yesterday at work. Later should be doing the last bit of a mates charity ride, finishing at the local 😎

Is that like your parole hearing?
I reckon T&T will give you another interrogation later.

Tired, could do with a few more hours sleep.

Day off so will go out for a walk somewhere I think.

yep, parole, would get banged up again if the day 8+ test were bad

resisting temptation to take a 3-hour circuitous route to the clinic, but it's still a few km and up a hill

'Clinic crit'. Now there's a new one.

@seanoconn : pick the boy up from school today ffs.

Toots are packed off to a day at leisure centre doing lots of silly stuff and Peter Rabbit 2 so it's very peaceful and allows us to sort out domestic stuff. Personally, i'll try and avoid doing anything.

Busy morning dealing with idiots again. Also had to call the warranty company about a problem with Stropteen's recently acquired car, bit of a pain. Although I did manage to flog a watch today and make a profit on it.

    exactly.

the fella is a big wuss.

I'd hazard a guess it wasn't properly dislocated though unlike my foot that was properly asleep.....

Sitting in the waiting area in my favourite Eye Hospital, back for more scans and imaging, maybe even get to see the consultant this time.

Man it is busy here today. The oldies are out or rather in in force. Here's me bringing down the average age and BMI by quite a big margin.

Busy busy. I have the lyrics from that song by Alphaville running in my head:
    "Forever young
I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever?
    Forever young"

With the better weather, he's out all night getting up to what, I do not want to know.
He has the lowest IQ of any cat I have owned. Which has it's upsides and it's downsides.
Previously, at the old address, he had male competition. His nemesis was a big black and white bruiser Tom cat who often drove him under the shed - in his own back yard.
It was monthly that he came back with the scars of some sort of altercation.
Once he came back with gouges in his head made, according to the vet, by a dog who must have got hold of him but he somehow survived and yet, he is pretty intolerant and aggressive to dogs of any size, he never runs away from them.
So, out here in the sticks, I know of only one very dainty long haired female cat and so he is king and has a legion of humble servants - not quite trained to his standards but getting there.
