martinez comes in. good effort by him. Dont think Bernal touched his bars for the last 500m. caruso looks bllxd. Apparently Evenepoel is timed at over 21 minutes back at the summit of the Giau.

I was worried that Bernal may have had a Hindley moment with his jacket at the end

Shame they missed two climbs, it might have stopped them coming in in these big groups

utter class finish by Bernal. removes the rain jacket, stows it, 2 arms salute as he crosses the line

Bardet frustrates me thinking of what he could do if he would just work on his TT.

Bernal didn't really attack in the traditional sense, just seemed to stay in the saddle on the front and up the pace.

Caruso is consistent. The rest challenging for the podium are on off

Worth noting this bit. Never understand it when riders have to wait for their leaders.

theyve invested a lot in Remco but Alameida could have been higher. he's been at the front consistently. Remco some 27 minutes down on todays stage

    ENECO Tour more like.

I have had my jab and caught up with watching all of the coverage.
Shambles of a stage from RAI and Vengi that pretty much finished off the GC battle, but for an accident, or a Yates like collapse.
On the subject of Yates, he'd better stick to the Vuelta because he really doesn't do full on bad weather.

It feels like Bernal should have a much bigger lead than he does as it seems like none of the other contenders have been regularly close to him. That said 2' 24" is huge by recent standards, still only a bad day in the mountains though.
