Yebbut. Shift a load of knock off copies pronto out of China, loadsa mug punters out there, stick 'em up on fleabay and the like. Quick, before some cabinet minister's next door neighbour's cousin gets a nice fat gummint contract to produce similar with coloured flags attached.

Just popped out to get some bread and had a terrible accident. A couple of mates were sitting outside a local boozer, so my bicycle automatically steered to the side of the road. I had to dismount to avoid falling. After the stress of that I thought I'd better havea pint to soothe my nerves. Beer is basically bread and water isn't it?

    Close call V- Man.

Normally I wouldn't pull rank medical stuff wise but on this occasion you definitly need a second pint and some 'scratchings to ensure all is tickety boo. Post traumatic shock, innit.

Pop down to B&L and we can discuss over a medicinal vino rosso.

I would stay there until you're absolutely sure that you're OK. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the concern guys, you'll be relieved to know I made it. Unfortunately had to come back for a video call with the physio for a last check up on my wrist. My vigorous wrist exercises have been continuing but there has been little change so I've been signed off completely now. Still thinks surgery woudn't improve matters but hopes the pain will wase with time. It's only been 11 months after all. Need to chase the compensation and buy more goodies.

Ben - If that Selle Italia saddle isn't comfy - my mate's looking for one.
Couldn't really ascertain his sit bone width (foil on carpet/cardboard imprint etc) 'cos he's a bit of a lard @rse but suffice to say - it's frikkin wide.

No idea. Ben can buy a new saddle. We all like buying bike stuff and my mate gets a second hand one cheap.

He might never have thought about it before, this way he has something to ponder about as he pedals along.

Oh - the Prince is finished and, tbh, the thing that lets it down is the Ultegra.

I honestly can't understand what people see in it.

Is it new ultegra by any chance? Does the rear mech have the same drop link thingy that's causing me so much grief?

Ha, well done Ben, don’t give that cheeky fecker Pinno nothing! He’s always on the bloody want.

On the way to collect my son from his nan’s earlier and almost ran into a monster truck inconsiderately parked in the middle of the road. I knocked on the door of the obvious suspect but hop must have been in the garden.
