Another glorious week teaching toots. Poor things.
More waiting and hoping for a vaccine.

Sungod: no bubbly, no cycling. No cycling, no bubbly?

Had to tighten the spring on the door so Jack can come and go without leaving the door wide open letting in Siberian draughts. Two cat flaps and a gate spring. This things you do.

Good luck with sonny boy Hoppy.

Morning All, Currently drinking liquid mud preparing to take OH to work in light flurries from BFTE2. Buses already cancelled around us, pathetic. Doing BA at home other than attempt to motivate youngest with his lessons. Hopefully Pinno is snoring after stealing SG and LD,s task.

Job application receipt received, just told boss that I've applied for promotion course over eastern europe thing but if i can get on both then its a winner.

now to drink coffee before trying to explain Scope of Practice to people who don't want to understand it.

Pinno, they are talking about everyone 65+ getting one before the end of this week up here so good luck! Being old I would have thought you'd be right at the front of the queue ;)

Morning, cold and sunny here. Very windy and lots of fine snow coming in but I can't imagine it'll accumulate. Cracking view of the hills though, must be a fair dept of snow up there now, really wishing I bought that decathlon AT ski set up.

In other news, I spent last week building my new Condor Fratello (disc/thru axle) and I love it so much I did 11 reps of the hill behind my house on Saturday. I was going to do a proper ride but it was 25mph+ gusts from the East and I'm only allowed 5 miles out of the county. I had the choice of riding 20km east into the wind, or riding 175km to Stranraer one way and never coming home....

One way is half of that. You are right though.

  • Frosty this morning, and that was just Mrs HD. Serves me right for having too much wine whilst arranging a skiing holiday. Its bad news when I sheepishly asked where we were supposed to be going...

Not much to do around here, run later I suppose.

Saddle to bar drop of at least 60 cm too. Else it's good for nowt except the hammer, the fire and the neighbour's garden.

No carbon rims yet but I'll be remedying that in the summer, I'll keep these wheels and put some narrow-ish gravel tubless tyres on and get something carbon and 40mm ish for road duties.

Apologies for the steerer length, the reason I bought this frame over anything else was that it has a low stack so it's fun to ride but also takes wider tyres than my other bikes for long distance stuff. I need to keep the ability to raise the stem until I know I'm happy with it.

It weighs ~9.2kg currently but those are heavy tyres and wheels, amazed at the quality of the frame over my CdF

It's a beauty. And what a great photo.

I have an Italia RC and until I got my custom steel job, it was hands down the best frame I'd ever ridden.

Cheers, thats near the top of the dead end hill rep hill by my house, 120m or so with a max grade of 18% or 19%. I'd like to fine another one but it's so damn good for training! There's some good hills around here but not so many options for lanes and things unless I head south where it's flatter.

The Italia looks amazing, my brother has an older rim braked fratello which I've always been jealous of, I can definately see me owning more than one condor. I would be tempted swap my Argon for one of their aggressive bikes, like the Italia RC or Super Acciaio but the OH will kill me

Some top end bellowing going on. I put up one of those Ring security cameras in the back garden yesterday. Can you guess who was caught on camera at 1 a.m. having climbed out of his window? Not that the camera was required yesterday, what with the snow leaving ample evidence.
