A recent post by homers double (mentioning UKMB forum) led to a quick bit of research.....

Turns out homers double is the most senior, king of the hill, top of the pops bracketeer with a join date of April 2003! Closely followed by orraloon.

2009 was the vintage though.

    Indeed, we used to organize loads of forum rides back in the day and even had an MBUK/sandbox team at a couple of 24hr races.

    Llandegla was always a favorite, best bacon butties of any trail centre and the cake was alright too.

    You’d have to post regularly in BB. I could rank the entire forum if I have a particularly boring year.

    Wasn't called BR back in 2003. Was it CyclingPlus? Memory fades...with time... who said that?

    Do remember in early days a poster I think called SafeSpeedUk, or similar, a petrolhead with strong anti views on speed limits. There were some entertaining exchanges. I think he (or she, non genderist innit) died in a road crash...
