It was actually a hybrid - with yeast.
Worked beautifully.
The reason?: Have a surplus of whole meal flour which I am not keen on. I find it difficult to get the texture right so I mix it 50/50 with white and add baking powder as well.

Don't listen to radio much nowadays, mostly podcasts. Comedy or science based. Not a lot of music anymore.
Used to listen to the Today programme every morning on way to work. And 5 live xtra when the crickets on.0 -
