Who wins the Tour de France?

  • Quintana seems to be in better form than he has been for a few years (if form counts for anything in this strange season). Good performance on Ventoux recently, no more Movistar politics to be messed about with and he won that mountain TT in the giro a few years ago en route to pink.

So Quintana for me, he'll go well I think.

Tough one. I had a long hard think and decided on Sagan.

I do not think there are more than two true sprinters stages so Sagan.

He didn't look too comfortable going uphill though.
Will he make the cuts? Will he finish?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I think eventually WVA will be too busy to chase green. It will be left for Sagan.

If not Sagan then Alaphilippe for Green (unless he's preoccupied with Yellow.).

Anyone care to speculate on whether the Tour will go the 3 weeks or be cut short due to C-19? I'm thinking it's 50/50.

Too many fans gobbling at the ineos riders and they might stop riding.

I don't even care, not watching it either, it's just riding a computer, the fun is gone, the excitement is gone, no spectators, no realism, it all adds up to one big YUK!

You're probably in the wrong bit of the forum then!

Why no realism? They'll still be on their bikes day in, day out racing each other. No spectators is weird but doesn't really affect cycling as much as stadium sports (if anything spectators create more hindrance than help for the cyclists).

It will seem a bit odd, but there will still be Chateaus, cows and horses.

I mean, what more do you want?

WvA will be a good shout if Ineos go bonkers on the Turini and an injured Roglic loses 30 minutes

  • Spotted this on Landa's bike during the rest day yesterday. Anyone know what the flash of pink on the rear derailleur / pulley wheel is?

Is not the jockey wheel. One those large ones that give you less resistance.

Roglic to win with a good team behind him.

Bernal to abandon with Plan B hovering around the top 10 and Sir Dave wondering 'What if?'.

Just calling out Mystic Meg-109 here, whose prediction isn't looking a bad one right now...

Bernal hasn't abandoned and their plan b isn't around to 10?

Plan B is now leading plan A though.
