India from 408-3 to 462 all out, England-esque collapse.
Been a great watch this morning as a neutral.
NZ chasing 106 to win.

I’d say that crosses the line into doctoring a pitch.

From what I've heard (and I guess from previous Rawalpindi tests) it's going to be difficult to replicate a day 9 Multan pitch whatever they do to it - although it does smack of desperation somewhat.
Toss will be extra important again...

Well we won the toss at least. Not going particularly well though.

When I woke up and saw we won the toss I thought it was going quite well at 60 odd for 1, but all the wickets since then is a bit disappointing.
At least two from going back when the balls kept low - why are we going back when the ball is staying low...

Suppose you don't know till both sides have had a bat... but... not looking great.

I am all for gaining home advantage, but that crosses a line!
It makes you wonder though why Pakistan have spent so long creating flat roads for pitches, it seemed they were more scared of losing and have just been trying not to get beat. Now they have played to their strengths with spinning wickets with uneven bounce they have given themselves opportunities to actually win matches.
Anyway, 250 probably looks quite a good score on this pitch for either side first innings.

If England can stay in for two sessions it will start to get interesting. I think you can be sure that 150 isn't a good score but 200 could potentially be defendable with Pakistan batting fourth.

41 off four overs has made a bit of a difference, but I don't think the tail will last very long against these bowlers.

Well, 267 is a lot better than what I thought they would get at one point. Jamie Smith - brilliant.
Next hour or so will be interesting. Leach about to open.

46 for 3 is looking encouraging!

Nasser on Sky saying that the way it's keeping low in the first session basically makes it a poor test pitch - turning is fine, but you shouldn't expect that low bounce on the first session of day 1. Something that usually develops towards the end of a match.
I presume this might mean it will get worse too.

Yep! and Pakistan will bat last on it

Not on day 5 though, I'd guess

Possibly not on Day 4 either at this rate

Lol
"The three-time defending champions reached 52-2 but were bowled out for 53 amid a flurry of wickets on a bouncy, green pitch in Perth.
The one run added came from a wide, with numbers five to 10 in the batting order all dismissed for ducks."

The India - New Zealand game looks interesting again

Lol, Atkinson went to bowl a bouncer that just rolled along the floor

That could describe my brief career as an u13 tearaway fast bowler.

This is diabolical now

Game's gone.
(hoping now I have said that Pope will finally get some runs etc).

Nope. Out for 1 again...
Think we need a new #3...

At least they have made Pakistan bat again…..just.
Abject is how the BBC describe this morning’s batting fiasco.

Perhaps Australia will be thinking about some turning wickets after seeing that!

Went to watch WI v Bangladesh test match - there must only have been a few hundred people there on a Saturday. Tickets were under £4. Test cricket definitely struggling.
Food selection amazing.

That NZ test was great, I kept expecting to wake up and see we'd collapsed - I watched the first few balls of England's first innings and the ball was hooping all over the place, so I thought it was a lost cause and went to sleep... Only to wake up and see we had managed to bat out the day.
Obviously NZ didn't help themselves with all the dropped catches, but hard to believe it's the same side that beat India 3-0.

Attending a test in the Windies is definitely a bucket list item for me! Sad to see it that sparsely attended.

Also a shame it's only a 2 match series, as from scorecards it looks like Bangladesh might draw the series.

Strange day of cricket with Brook hitting 123 off 115 but England only managing 290 all out (Pope got 66 of the remaining runs). They then reduced NZ to 86-5 by close. Could be all over by the end of day 2.
