"Of course, sometimes, the Thunberg disciples glue themselves to windows and railings so they can’t physically be moved but again, I have a plan.

Leave them there. Because after a few hours, they’re going to need a pee. And after that, a No2. And they won’t be able to take their trousers down.

So then we leave them where they are, with their pants full of their own steaming turds until they are begging to be freed and promising never to come back ever again.

Perhaps then they will grow up, go home and get back to school."

Curious that Clarkson of all people is cross about people being "not grown up" given that his entire career is largely based on him behaving as though he hasn't grown up. Maybe he's starting to grow up!
I'm not so sure that leaving hippies glued to objects until they crap their pants is that mature. But it did make smile :)

In addition to this, every hour I would throw a bucket of cold water over these idiots.

This would have a couple of benefits:

    - They will quickly feel uncomfortably cold and be unable to remove themselves from the situation
    - Give them a much needed wash.

Have you ever thought about being nice?

Well no - I more meant the concept that there was some value in being grown up but he seems pretty confused.
