Are you.... are you suggesting that Velon's content is a bit rubbish?
Yes yes I should have known better.. it's a point that doesn't need making0 -
Thomas on the deck0

Thomas currently on the tarmac and it doesn't look good."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

30km to go and a very familiar sight as we see G sat on the deck looking very dazed. Looks to have tangled with an Astana rider, looks like TdS is over for both of them0
-
Headbanger. Sitting up but looks finished for the race.0

Thomas crashes....Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

G shoulder/collar looks ok0

Arms seem to be moving alright now but still sat still, maybe just a concussion? Hopefully nothing broken0
-
Yeah seems to be moving both arms quite well.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230

Have just emailed Brailsford to let him know I'm available for the Tour.
Obviously this means I'm gonna crash on my commute home0 -
He is moving his arms, but he's not going on, so his prep screwed at the very least."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Can't be a co-incidence:

Viviani outsprints Sagan and Matthews0

Wow, that was underwhelming. Viviani from Matthews and Sagan.
Not that you could tell as Viv looks a bit sad."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

There must have been a tester waiting for him in the bus.0

Proper Tour sprinters should really all be at ZLM.0 -

Saw someone suggesting that Adam Yates dropped out of the Dauphine to avoid doping controls. After spending a couple of days in yellow.. couldn't make this sh1t up0 -

it's all over the asylum when you look in there. If you win you are doping, but instead if having fluctuating form it's riders choosing not to win to avoid controls.. In which case why even bother racing !!
You can also tell if a rider is cheating just by watching TV as well. Not sure why the UCI \ ASO pay for drug testers etc that method is so outdated0 -

The crash scene is on my commute. I didn't see it, I was heading to the finish, but it’s a fairy innocuous bit of road. I'd just been saying that if there was to be a crash it would be on the descent from Hochwald, a couple of k from where it happened. Now that’s a good test of your bottle for us mere mortals
I like the loops they put into several of the finishes in recent years, gives you an opportunity to see a bit more of the action.0 -

Agree, but I guess the problem is that the loop has to be long enough to cope with big gaps in the groups, and so roadblocks need to be in place for much longer.0 -
It’s no coincidence that the 2 who were riding with the 2 Ineos team leaders when they crashed are also the 2 riders next in line for leadership at the Tour. “Accidents”, my @rse. It’s the famed old Colombian/Dutch alliance rearing it’s ugly head again...

I think blocked roads are only an issue in the UK, I haven't heard any real complaints about it over here. They even block one of the local hills on a Saturday afternoon, for what is effectively a club competition.0

Apparently it was just a random bit of road narrowing with a bit of curb sticking out. Zeits hit and went down right in front of GT."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
The proposed Queen stage on Sunday has "fallen in the water" as the Sustenpass failed its season-opening safety inspection.
Discussions are ongoing as to how they will finish this race, as there is no reasonable diversion route around the closed pass.

A bit of a shambles, then, just like the tv coverage.
Talk for ages, show the last few kms.
