Hawaii = triathlon?
I didn't realise blood doping made you more aero. They do believe anything though."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -

I can think of one Austrian former cyclist, with a history of blood doping, who has transformed himself into a successful triathlete and has managed a top 10 finish at Hawaii Ironman. I'm sure he's not daft enough to get caught again...0 -

The Swiss NZZ is a little more forthcoming than Euronews https://www.nzz.ch/sport/operation-aderlass-so-funktionierte-das-erfurter-dopingnetzwerk-ld.1468834. They say that the names of 21 athletes are known, 20 professional, one semi-pro. This number is expected to increase. Also that a triathlete, competing in Hawaii, was/is a long term client of Dr 'S'. It’s also claimed that they are not naming the 21, for tactical reasons, as some don't know that they've been rumbled yet.
'S' and his non-medically trained assistants were 'learning by doing', and they give a couple of stories were the athlete was 'lucky' after unfortunate side effects. All for 4,000 to 12,000 Euro per year.0 -
Looks like the Dr (Mark Schmidt) being investigated has been at it a while since Hondo of all people has been caught up in it.
Hondo says "there is no professional future for me in cycling....especially as I am a repeat offender."0 -
Who is Hondo?
I thought Hondo was a basketball player for the Boston Celtics?PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230 -
