    Good news.

There were rumours he was from Yorkshire as his name spelled backwards is 'Ebagum'.

No, but he was a true European (mired in corruption scandals).

I thought that was the definition of a modern politician regardless of party/nationality?

Cheap shot even by your standards Stevo. Check the colours out:

Clue - Blue is good, red is bad. So Europe's not perfect, but the idea that "EU=corruption", which is what you're implying, is pathetically, diametrically, opposed to the truth.

This is the Crudcatcher so facts don't really matter. Keep on jogging and that chip might drop off your shoulder

  • In the blue countries there is legitimate form of corruption called Cronyism / Nepotism which is just as rife.

Lost your sense of humour all of a sudden? What's running got to do with it? And shoulder-chips are for those who can't hide their envy, what have I got to be envious of? I would hope it would be obvious that I have a proper public school superiority complex :wink::D:D:wink::D

    Nope :)

Anyway, shouldn't you be using your public school education and be marking homework? :D

Bored of marking today. Why don't you do some marking for a change and I'll dodge some taxes.

Sure, everyone knows teachers get long holidays and swan off home by 4 every day
    (1:20 on Fridays)
  • I reckon if Stevo added up all the time spent on here in a year it'd equal more than your holidays. A real asset

After a quick google of the going rate, that is the very least I would expect.

Ginger Baker, a great drummer in the tradition of crazy drummers. Never knew he wanted to be a pro cyclist. Being ginger would make anyone a bit crazy I guess.

That dream came to an end when his bicycle got caught up with a taxi, as BBC News phrased it.
His early ambition was to ride in the Tour de France but he was forced to quit the sport when, aged 16, his bicycle got "caught up" with a taxi. Instead, he took up drumming.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Cause isn't easy to find, but apparently, Jamie Oliver tweeted it was a fall of some description.
