You'd think the child of immigrants would have a more open mind to immigration.
    Strange.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Gotta ingratiate yourself with the white/racist crowed so you need to double down on your own racism etc.

'Multiculturalism has failed' says the daughter of Goan Indians from Mauritius and Kenya, who is married to a Jewish man and whose boss is Britain's first Hindu PM.

It's difficult to fully articulate how jaw-droppingly stupid her statement is.

Unfortunately it does seem to be a 'thing'. And then there's the papers paying black writers to lend their names to what would be offensive coming from a white person. Whilst it's good the Tories have a reasonable racial mix in the cabinet, one might suspect that their race is being used as a way of camouflaging the sentiment behind the policies.

  • Well, as we've cracked a thousand pages it only seems fitting.

Yeah, I just think B.S. is B.S. regardless of who's saying it.
Disappointed if some are taken in by the deceit, and that some are willing to peddle it.

I think she is just trying to get the sack so she can fight over the ashes of the party next year.

It's not an appeal to anyone other than party members and it's a pretty damning indictment of them.

Just how many #toryscum party member Gammons will vote for a brown skinned individual? Most preferred a thick lettuce head cosplayer last time.

Trying to give her some credit, it's quite easy to say the multicultural government we have has failed. Maybe that's what she meant 😂

Well, as we've cracked a thousand pages it only seems fitting.

Good call, especially as she is still living rent free inside many lefties' heads despite being dead for quite a while :)

It's his bedroom wall poster. For to encourage the rightie hand jobbing.

Thatcher may be dead but her legacy lives on. One example: privatised water utilities, mega divis taken by e.g. furrin' pension funds while loading debt on the company accounts. What's wrong with that?

On the other hand, she did champion the Single Market, and help get the Channel Tunnel built (cost about £25bn in today's money).

  • No probs.

He's trying to save Humanity damn it! And, another intelligent matter will eventually supercede Humanity, it's just a matter of time. Given the age of Earth relative to the Universe there must already be example of this in space.

Will our generation start/see this transition happen?

At least with the Labour Party they wouldn’t have to throw expensive bones to their own MPs as they represent the destinations, not the through routes.

When will this ever be over.

I’m trying to do my f@cking job here.
  • I know of no one, other than small subsets of public sector workers - mostly in Scotland - who have had above inflation pay rises lately. And I don't see why any particular role should inherently be paid the same in relation to inflation over time. A failure to meet these criteria shouldn't be the definition of an unfair pay offer.

Hands up anyone who works in such a role, the value of which has remained static in relation to the cost of living over time?

    I don't. Never have.

I would guess must of my colleagues have received near inflation pay rises. Although that's a sample based on the under 40s, so at a time where your role is increasing in responsibility...

We've also had multiple rounds of pay rises a year for the past couple of years.

Pay scales do need to be seen in the context of inflation. But inflation isn't really the single number it's represented as.

I guess eventually they catch up, supply and demand though.

Fair play to Rick for having two jobs.
