On the train into town. Skiing holiday now booked - get in. We'll be in Chamonix in 5 weeks time and he French know how to party - apparently if we wear yellow hi viz jackets it'll be a total riot.

WFH, a decision made before I realised the current wife is ill and off work :( probably something to do with her moving the sofa, chair, table and Christmas tree yesterday :)

Later will hopefully be the fun bike if the legs have recovered from last nights frankly stupid intervals with the running group

Nice cold ride in. Sauna downstairs when i arrived, now a cup of black filter coffee to complete the warm up.

2 weeks off from 21st for me. Very much looking forward to that, though I expect I'll eat my words after kids have been bickering for 3 days solid.

    To contrast

Slippery ride in, a puddle of cold water by the bike rack which is the boiler having crapped itself so no hot water or coffee.

Working till the 24th and back in on the 27th, no bickering as OH is away at relatives so its me an dog for Christmas.

May go chase a duck or something.

Brexit isn't in the same league...I'm going to write to my MP. Or maybe Josh.

Are we being engulfed by the wave of political correctness? Has RC's OH put her oar in?

So many questions, so little time. I'll never get back that blonde beauty on page 347.

Bad, we were meant to be going away but work are refusing to allow time off so as penance I'm being left at home.
Suppose I can do the grumpy man in the corner of the pub with a dog on christmas day though?

Really? Without notice? Anyone asked Josh about it?

I though that the initial reason that they merged all the various girl threads was to keep it clean and under control.

Is the one in the mtb section still there?

Not to be a snowflake (I did contribute once or twice), but there were less bicycles than a boy racers cruise night on Southend sea front.

Could have been due to the posts put up a week or two ago.
Eyebrows were raised and I'm surprised it took this long. Gone, but not forgotten.

So delete certain posts and give the person who posted them a bollocking and a reminder of the rules.

Doesn't explain why the mtbisters section one has gone as well. Needless to say there wasn't one in the communting section.

Glad we're not the only ones who turn the house upside down just to accommodate a tree for 3 weeks. There's about a ton of stuff comes out of the loft and another ton goes in. I'm knackered by Christmas Eve!

And this year once assembled, I managed to snap one of the legs off the tree. Not wanting to dismantle it again I tried a running repair with superglue while lying flat on my front. Now it's stuck to a sheet of newspaper but hopefully not the floor beneath, and after 48 hours I've finally separated the 2 fingers I bonded together. Bah humbug!

chatted with mes amis de gmc, fauchon shopped, boeuf tartared, pelforth's quaffed

lazing in lounge for return, overheard someone moaning that they are in carriage 13, given the noise they make eating i'm glad i'm not, i loathe noisy eaters, learn basic table manners or be shot

not a whiff of tear gas, let alone gilets jaunes
