In 21 seasons of running FdJ, Marc Madiot has only won two races at World Tour level (excluding stages). Egan Bernal who was born in the same year as FdJ already has more WT stage race wins than FdJ.

Madiot tells the French media what they want to hear and blames his failures on other teams so no-one questions whether the failings of French cycling are to do with having dinosaurs like him running the teams. The French treat him like he's cycling's Alex Ferguson, when he's more like its Harry Redknapp.

Another dissenter dismmised by Rich the pro dooping sky apologist. FFS man get a grip, you work in an operations role, youre a loser and you think youre a leader. Do you or have you ever raced on a bike????

This makes me chuckle on many levels

It's funny, Dumoulin strikes me as being exactly the same sort of rider as Miguel Indurain. Dogged in the mountains and devastating in time trials. Indurain gets a lot of stick for that so why do so many people admire Dumoulin?
There was a lot more time trialling back in Indurain's day. Usually a couple of 50km TTs. And he was capable of absolutely destroying the competition. On one TT he beat everyone by four minutes, except Rominger who was only two minutes down.

... ironically, one of the reasons they dropped the amount of TTing was to make it harder for Sky to win...

Although I very much doubt either of you is anyway right, what is wrong with making a route more competitive between the likely participants? Competition, tension and excitement is what spectators want to see.
Your remarks, even if only in jest, only make it sound like you follow the Brexit opinion that Brits are hard done by in Europe.

God  are you always on?

Sorry, what about the 4 Froome victories (5 sky) has been competitive..?

JFC even the 1 year break for Nibbles was dull as dishwater...

The irony is by trimming TTs so much to take away a Sky weapon they've reduced Dumolin's chances of winning. A big TT next Saturday makes this a very different tour...

Now, for god's sake relax and have a laugh..

Brexit FFS, we re 2 of the 3 people on the forum living in the sodding EU!!
