isn't this climb a bit similar to the one in the worlds this year ? Maybe Sagan wants to see what he can do.. he has got up the very steep ones and won sprints before.. did it in either Giro or Tirenno a few years ago

There appears to be a smurf humping a bike at the head of the race.

I’m guessing they’re on the final climb? Just arrived at the campsite and was hoping to unpack and get to the bar in time!

You have 21'06" until the yellow jersey group finish so you've got time to unpack an entire city.

Sagan really is ridiculous, isn't he? Good win by Fraille - went at exactly the right moment.

    Fascinating final climb.
Would never have pegged Sagan to beat Caruso up that climb.

Fraile gambled by going early and it paid off, leaving Alaphillipe to foot the bill.

I thought so, you knew he would obliterate anyone who he was with over the top of the climb

Dumoulin looks like he'll lose out if someone actually attacks

Well, what to say about that?
A puncture causes the main damage, but the rest didn't add up to a lot.

Suppose you can make it interesting by claiming that Froome wasn't keen to share work with Thomas when they briefly dropped Dumoulin, but it feels a bit of an artificial controversy. All it's confirmed is that the top three riders are indeed the top three riders.

The Worlds one is massively steeper than that one. It's absolutely horrendous.
