Break goes away and should have some interesting banter. Two French, two Belgian. Are they just trying to get home quick for the best seats for the semi-final?
I know it's Cofidis, but they should be finished by eight o'clock.

Yeah, but their half-hour warm-down takes three hours.

Cavendish havign trouble with his radio, getting it fixed at the car and it drops in a ditch. Hops off and finds it quickly, then waves the cameraman off 'cos he needs a píss.

One way to get rid of the unwanted camera, shape to lob it out right in front of him.

Bloody effective. The cameraman ran away like he was getting chased by a python.

If we've got a westerly wind do you think we might have a chance of echelons on the neck of the chicken bit?

Some of the binary bike paraphernalia are so big you could process the next fortnights weather with them.

Why does Skoda sponsor them to ride their bikes, when they would rather ride their bikes than drive a carrrr?

Gaviria took the intermediate (after the break had taken first four places, obv) ahead of Greipel.

    I missed it.

I think I might go and have a nap now.

Keeping you grounded. The mind-numbing tedium of these long flat stages is well known for engendering flights of fancy. Some never return. You might think it's just about dreaming about echelons, but uncorrected there was a serious risk you'd start believing in invisible motors, powerful conspiracies and the efficacy of Salbutamol as a PED. Sprint stages are the gateway to insanity.

What did Carlton say about the Germans earlier? Something about them knowing the area well. Hansen didn't know what to say.

    He's gone full Fawlty

Cheers for that. I missed it when he was introduced and it was driving me up the wall as to who it was.
