Nowhere near ugly enough, sorry... that's just a setup for someone with a bad back... don't be a snob :-)

Yeah but apart from the fact that someone's bought a bike from one of the most renowned custom frame builders in the country and then stuck a foot of spacers under the bars AND flipped the stem, he appears to have got Stevie Wonder to have picked the colour scheme and finishing kit. It's been on eBay for months now for good reason :D

The colour scheme is very similar to some popular Look offerings and broadly "mondrian inspired". I quite like it.
The stack and flipped stem might be a necessity... for what you know, the guy might be using his bike to ride London-Edinburgh-London where comfort trumps a sleek look.

Well it just goes to show there's no accounting for taste Ugo.

With less than 100 pounds you can make that bike into a jaw dropping machine. Remove all the red and white bits, fit a normal saddle, cut the steerer and voilla...

Shame is too big for me...

The new grail is obviously wrong in the handlebar department.

I love them all, just for their outlandishness
  • Even as a triathlete, I'd not swing my leg over that thing. There are some real monstrosities in the world of triathlon, and this qualifies as one of them! With the UCI rules for frame shape having no relevance to tri, then you're going to get this type of thing, but to paraphrase Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park...they realised they could, but never stopped to think if they should...

I’m generally a fan of Ribble....but that is awful.
If anyone remembers the programme ‘The Krypton Factor’, the contestants always had to build some kind of puzzle from a series of blocks on a table. This bike looks like one of them, built by the contestant who ran out of time and desperately flung it together at the end.

Being slightly taller it is very annoying how 'wrong' many aero bikes look at larger sizes.

Take the BMX wheels off and put some proper 700c ones back on and that bike would be fine

I initially thought it was creative use of a broken frame, but now you mention Photoshop I'm noticing a few things look a bit off... lack of spokes on the front wheel, perspective of the handlebars, the lighting on the frame and those Zipps just don't look quite right.

It was the look of the Zipps that made me suspicious, but now that I look a little more closely I see all of those and the bottom run of the chain has a strange kink in it.
I like the way they put the big chrome light on the front of it.
  • trek madone aero thing. fricking gopping, especially in smaller sizes.

My mate just did what used to be called a Half Ironman (now Ironman 70.3 as presumably having half in the name made it sound like a lesser option!) out in San Diego and posted a photo of that bike in the racking area. He thought it looked amazing, I had to point out that there seem to be no technical or taste regulations in triathlon. Hideous looking thing from a 1980s BMX manufacturer.

Change this to all Treks from the past 5 years.

Yikes! That's a design only a wind tunnel could love. Really unpleasant looking.

As its a Ribble I expect the nearest thing its been to a wind tunnel is the Dartford tunnel on top of a S-Max.......

Its a Ribble, so make that a coal tunnel on the back of a pit pony.
