A couple more stages for Cav, maybe?

Nah, we all know Cav's finished.

    That generation is finished.

Late to the party but due to my irrational hatred of Renshaw and my equally irrational love of Steve Cummings I hope they win 0 stages.

It's a shame there's not been some sort of alternative sporting event to occupy us in the meantime.

Teklehaimanot is 29. A bit late for him I'd say.

Also rides for Cofidis, so not likely to win a GT for DD ;)

I've enjoyed the World Cup but with the day off yesterday I took time to get very excited for the Tour

The World Cup has been great to the point I have no idea what’s happening team wise for the Tour. Someone sent me a link to the DD team announcement which infuriated me. Renshaw

Argentina were my sweepstake, and it was a £10 sweepstake. Nightmare.

Yes you dowonder if their multi-headed strategy is just a 'chuck enough leaders, see which one survives the cobbles' strategy...

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Turgis 2nd yesteday in national champs in a sprint from a group of 5. There were dribs and drabs but Bouhanni got beaten by Demare and finished 15th.

The problem Cofidis have is that they are desperate to win a Tour stage, but there best chance, by some margin, is Bouhanni. Leaving him out, for whatever reason, is self defeating.

Apparently Alex Ferguson once gave Dave Brailsford some advice about management which was "Get rid of the c*nts". It seems that philosophy has reached Cofidis.

Navarro could do it. He's been unlucky.

Still, that setup. It's like team of TT champions that are scary at climbing. Movistar trio are probably better individually, but is that enough.

This must the strongest line up of contenders in a GT for years, no?
It’s got pretty much anyone who’s won one or podiumed in one who’s still racing at top level - except Aru (arguably not racing at top level). And it’s got pretty much everyone who’s been touted as a potential future winner (except sadly now not Kelderman)...
Some of them are going to get a proper kicking...

Really looking forward to see how Bernal goes.
