1'22" as well according to RTS.
Looks like a 2 horse race now, to me."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Bernal, shortly after finishing: “I've never had such a hard day as this, I'm exhausted“
The new GC bodes well for a good day's racing tomorrow.0 -

Positions 4th to 7th and 8th to 25th look interesting, with only one minute between those 23 riders.
A pity that the parcours are set up with the first two climbs being a lot harder than those that follow and a whopping great 25kms of downhill/flat to the finish."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
RichN95 wrote:Around 30 riders were outside the time limit. Will they cut that many?
You would think that they would, given how the race jury quickly wielded the axe over that Scheldeprijs incident.
However, this is the UCI we are talking about and we all know that they are consistent as lumpy custard."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Well there you go.
The famous UCI spirit of fair play.....................to some and while on home turf, brought into play, just as I suggested.
Cut off now amended from the roadbook's 25% to Kirby's 30%.
Everyone on from Viviani in 118th is out (10 riders in total)
Where mountains are concerned, I blame Colombians and ski jumpers. :P"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

I can understand them canning the rule entirely but picking another number at random seems a bit off.0
