Luke Rowe chucked out of the race for riding on the pavement
Have they told him yet? It looks like he’s still there.

Expect some riders to make a move ahead of the koppenberg to get a head start.

How ironic, given he was the only guy riding the pave, while the entire peloton took to the path, last year

Langefeldt, Cort and van Barle catch the front three. That's a handy little break.

Not really, he was trying to move up. Not a great decision

Rowe's little naughty is like my daily commute dodging the tourists through the Negen Straatjes and Spui.

That's a joke. Making an example of someone. I bet a quick step riding doing that wouldn't be kicked out.

UK commentators saying wayward spectators funnelled him off the road and that it was unfair given other rides had deliberately ridden off the main road and on pavement.

    Oh well.

Surprised nobody hit those barriers at the bottom of the Koppenberg, they seem to be designed to be extra-sticky-outy

But as they pointed out on Eurosport, he never actually rode on the pavement. The crowd were in the road.

    He’s still riding along though.

    Break's chances?

They’re there to survive the next big favourite acceleration if they can, by having a head start.
