didnt we have this debate before though,and decided thats not the correct way to do it, though I have tried it few times mostly with disatrous results with belgian beer, works great with german beer

I think it depends whether you want to get the yeast or not, basically if you do, you'll get drunker. This is what my Flemish beer expert friend says and I defer to her superior knowledge.

I like the yeast bit. More bitter. I don't know if it makes you drunker, but it does do a good job of cleaning out your insides the next day...

Not sure about it getting you drunker, I tend to avoid it as it has unpleasant effects the next day.
