Have had a few team jerseys over last 3 to 4 years. Never had any probs with any of them. They fit great pockets are good and tight enough to hold gear. All team replica tops short sleeve are full length zips aswell so bonus. Bought two Santa Cruz mtb tops recently, they are good for the price. With the road jerseys dont expect them to last more than a couple of summers use before the stitching starts to go.Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will0

The jersey zips can sometimes be a bit weak, but for the price you can't really complain. Likewise, the bibshorts (we bought a pair for for around a tenner) represent bonkers value for money - the lycra is good, the seams are well stitched and the pads are excellent. Kinda makes you wonder why anyone would want to pay 4/5/6 times the amount for what is essentially the same kit.
Downside - don't hold your breath waiting for it to arrive. The stuff we've bought usually takes around 4+ weeks to arrive.0 -
Would agree with previous posters, have bought a few full outfits for circa £15 and can't knock it.0

Sizing can be fun but I tend to buy a bigger size and that has worked for me so far with the jerseys I've bought so far. I've bought retro jerseys mainly, Renault Elf, LA Vie Claire Mondrian style jersey and a Fagor jersey from around the time Malcolm Elliot was doing his thing for them. I do want a Systeme U jersey but the search option doesn't work as the sellers don't include that much detail in the description.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I got a few original designs and some retro for commuting from aliexpress. The retro ones were "Z" enfant, "Cinzano" and Bic.
I've very happy with all of them, but the Cinzano one. Only gripe with that is that the back is plain back, I checked back and there was no picture of the back on the description so my fault I suppose. Look at the pictures carefully!0 -

I’ve bought various bits from here. Quality is what’s you’d expect for the price (i.e. it’s no Rapha) but it’s great for the price. Always arrives 2 weeks from order and there is a huge variety to choose from.

Fake is the word I’d have used. Buy fake kit cos real is expensive - partly brought about because people keep buying fake stuff from China. Why not just buy a fake bike, wheels, or illegally download music and movies, buy cheap booze from that guy in the pub car park? It’s all destroying an industry somewhere.0 -
Also because the ridiculous cost of real kit - well, all kit now - has been caused by people keeping on buying overpriced clothing.
£269 for a waterproof jacket as per front page of BR? £200 for a pair of shoes?
Not everyone wants to/can afford to spunk that kind of money on cycling clothing. I do a lot of cycling, have some spare cash but I'm not spending £100 on a pair of bibshorts.

There are cheaper genuine alternatives available. If you’re going to pay the prices damanded of say Rapha or Assos then more fool you. Buy something closer to your budget. To buy fake is a bullshit excuse0 -
It's a bit different buying technical rain kit. That is expensive. Buying a Lycra top for three figures does seem expensive to me - but there are plenty of kit makers selling very reasonably. Planet X. Dhb. That's good quality kit and genuine.0

What a steaming pile of horse sh1t. Is that really how you justify it? As I said. I don’t use the word counterfeit, I say FAKE. It’s not a genuine article and by buying it you are defrauding the designer. Make a choice, buy expensive kit, or more affordable kit. Don’t be a shallow fraud who wants to look a certain way but doesn’t want to spend the money to do so. Your as big a sham as the knock off shirts you buy.

If things like this bother you, don’t buy either. But to think that they are the same but left the factory by the back Door neither brings down the price of the genuine ones or solves the counterfeit issue. If you refuse the spend money on the expensive items they will eventually have to bring costs down. But supply and demand means plenty are prepared to pay the top prices.
Why is the new ipnone x over a grand? Cos idiots are prepared to pay that. If these things are obscenely expensive then refuse to pay it and look for cheaper alternatives until the companies get the message.0 -
