Not really considering that Joe/Joanne Soap don’t know much about cycling and think that they are all dopers anyway.
Personally though, Enigmatic Ian Stannard being British champion wouldn’t exactly persuade me to buy anything his sponsors were selling and neither would, well, any of them.
E.g., I'd never watch Greipel win a stage and then rush out to buy some Soudal glue. But confronted with two brands of glue, provided the cost is about the same, I'm probably more likely to buy the one I have heard of (using this as an example because I actually bought some!).
I remember the first time I saw some Mapei grout, I was like "Oh, That's what they make" :-D
I still want a Polti vacuum cleaner and a Saeco coffee machine :-)
Same with Segafredo on a napkin in a cafe, weird how familiar you get with something before you see it in the "real world"0 -

Yeah, we went to Eurodisney and they had segafredo coffee there. It wasn't bad!0 -
First proper race watched this season and it's a nightmare telling all the kits apart. No idea which team is which. Not a big fan of brown.

Isn't it fairly easy to distinguish from front to back?

I bought this kit. Shorts are mega. Jersey is a teeny bit loose over the shoulders so flaps a touch and the zip puller is a huge metal tag. Looks pimp and that's what counts the most though.

Is that an Italian flag on the bibs? Cool.Superstition sets the whole world in flames; philosophy quenches them.

Quite like it. The Sky Ocean Rescue initiative is also a title sponsor at the Volvo Ocean Race. It's about cleaner seas, not coastguarding.0

Anyone know what the deal is with red Lotto's kit? Changed for the Giro but was still red in other concurrent races?0

They were called lotto fix all at the giro, so must have a different brand name in Italy."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -

Well played Parentini, well played. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
