I did thank you but am currently on my phone as my iPad charger seems to be in Iran so I can't work out how to make it work - let me get to the masterbatorioum and get the PC logged on and I'll have a look.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

It wouldn't be hard would it? I think 'monotonous' would be a better word.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
You're just jealous that your poxy broken Italian bi-cycle cannot match the Belgian might of Dirk.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Piddling on your own shoes just to make a point
It's not 'broken' it needs... what can we say?.. un poco di coccole to restore it to it's former best.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Was this really that long ago?!
FWIW, I have sent an email to Neill at Atlantic Boulevard, re.: the C40.
The final straw was a cable guide coming off.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

He's still around. I get the odd call.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

Wahey (and finally):
The 'Saronni C40'
Built up until the rear brake cable decided to fray. It was second hand. I left the the cables and handlebar tape intact on removal. So pics of the bike are pending Royal mail.

Lovely. There was a bloke selling a C59 here on FB the other day he’d had re-sprayed in that colour. I can’t even ride roadies any more and I still nearly bought it just to look at.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0

The paint in the flesh is stunning WS*.
It has a base gold with metallic flick.
*Well it should be at the cost.
Now in a deep blue funk. It was meant to be my winter trainer.

Shame it's just a plastic one. 😉
Nice! The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Carbon is more winter friendly than metal, anyway0

I'm guessing travel restrictions, or strong winds.Wheelspinner said:

Gonna be sexy for sure0

Neill Shankland at Atlantic Boulevard. The bloke is brand new as they say in Jockland. I ended up talking bikes with him for far too long.lincolndave said:That looks excellent Pinno, who painted it for you ? I have a sempre pro that could do with some attention
It looks stunning in the flesh - the rainbow WC stripes on the Colnago downtube decal, the finish between the Cherry red and black, lacquered carbon.
If you've seen an Aston Martin Volante in the flesh, with that deep sheen, it's similar. 4 coats of lacquer. It will need it if I chuck the guards on and use it all winter.
I haven't got the clearance for crudcatchers on the Wilier.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0
