    And they were right in terms of GC, what happened? Contador closed in on an outside chance of the podium.

    That said, he has really livened up the race to be fair even when most of his attacks have failed he's kept trying and got some success.

    I never thought I'd find myself saying this but.... I'd love to see Contador take tomorrow's stage (I don't think it will happen though).

    I know exactly what you mean. It would be also be grand if Frenchie paid the forum a visit on tomorrow's thread and provided a fitting tribute to "His "Man".

    From earlier in this thread I'd assumed Contador had stayed away and pulled a minute back, watching now I realise it was another fruitless effort. It livens things up though and at least someone is prepared to have a go.

    Gutting for Garcia to miss out on the win. I wonder how many kilometres TdG spent in breaks to finally get that win?
