Rohan Dennis hasn't lost an ITT (or TTT for that matter) that he has competed in this year...0

Dammit... I actually fact checked that and everything. He hadn't been marked as DNF yet when I looked.0

8 Alberto Contador (Spa) Tinkoff Team 0:01:57

15 Silvan Dillier (Swi) BMC Racing Team 0:02:40
The previous TT was 37 Km and had a hill in between and although this edition also has a bit of a hill, last year was tougher.
The flatter the course, the easier it is for Froome to really stretch his advantage out. The closest GC rival was Konig followed by Contador and then NQ. I'd say the time gaps would be pretty similar to last year provided Froome in not running on fumes and goes all-in.
Also, Tobias Ludvigsson and Yves Lampaert may surprise with the stage win.
GC Prediction:
Froome
Contador 2'05''
Nibali 2'10''
Ilnur Zakarin 1'50''
Wilco 1'30''
Chaves, Yates +3'
What do you guys think?0 -
You don't mention Jungels who is one of the favourites, but no one should get near Froome.
I see the Yates and Woods having bad days. The Yates because they don't need to ride and the young rider award means even less here than at other Tours and Woods, well I doubt he has much TTing experience?0 -

I‘d add Oliveira and Kelderman (to the already-mentioned Froome, Lampaert, Ludvigsson and Jungels) as a possible stage winner.
For Kelderman, a good performance today would get him on this evening‘s GC podium where he is then capable of staying till the end.0 -

Just realised I didn't make my PTP pick (for this nor ToB). I did my usual morning check of Inrng and William Hill then didn't submit the picks.
Is it bad that I am really quite gutted?0 -
Oh Lord! Forgot to mute the commentary. Bob Jungels is now Mr Bo Jangles. Why do Eurosport employ him?0

That all red skin suit is not flattering.0

Gutted for my PTP chances, I might slip off the podium as a result

Contador looked to set off a fraction before the countdown had finished.0

As usual, live timing on http://racecenter.lavuelta.es/#/stageprofile shot to pieces, stuck with no updates since before Adam Yates set off (for me at least anyway!).2015 Canyon Nerve AL 6.0 (son #1's)

Did that mean you had to choose between Channel 4 and Eurosport?0 -
