Me and Pinno will come and fix it for you. Mate's rates. Hopkins3 can live in a tent nearby and provide tea and coffee to us.

Oh - I thought you meant masturbating two people at a time. Sorry. Crossed lines there.

I must admit that I'm not that way inclined really, so if you thought it was going to be that kind of trip I was going to gather up my tool in my hand and exit stage left.

No we're not. We're chipping off a heap of 'hurled' render, then we're pointing an acre of old wall. After that, we're going to replace the render and then skim it so we can do some hurling. It's frikkin tedious and there's no pastry shops for miles.

I understood the bit about pastry shops but not the rest to tell the truth.

Will Nina be there? She's Scottish. She must live nearby.

We don't need distractions. You mix the render to a thickness of my liking and i'll put it on.

When I have skimmed it, you can chuck fine, sharp gravel at it.

    Like this, except 20ft up:

Now that there is a picture of a craftsman at work. Splendid.

Bet he moonlights at RBS as a senior manager.

Looking again at that picture, all he's done is badly concreted part of a wall.

No ya plonker, that cement is what the dry dash gets adhered to. Looks good.

    Seriously?

Well, if that's the standard of work required, count me in. I'll take my tool out of my hand and fire up the AMG. I'm on my way.

For someone who didn't understand 'render' or 'hurling'

Have you done dry dashing? Besides, the dry dash surrounding the cement render in the picture is pretty old, probably older than the builder bloke. It needs to be flat, of a certain consistency and containing a water inhibitor.
The latter 2, one couldn't tell from a picture but it's flat and level with the surrounding render.
