This. It's shaped like a pirate ship. It rocks. We were running like Jack Sparrow whenever we could.

And the ice cream parlour we went to that sold delish rum and raisin ice cream

Fusciardi's. Used to work just around the corner. Got a job for my overwhelmed au pair and ex-gf Daniella (from Torino) at Fusciardi's.
And there was some funny graffiti on the sea wall

There was a poem down the other end near Helen Garden, painted on the concrete sea wall:

Rowing out far out from land and friends
Where there is no light from the cars and streets
Reflected on the green, tearful eye that never ends
I see a pale light. always shifting on a shifting sea.

More I follow and more clearer becomes this unknown
Light; more dim and distant becomes the land
Until, on this unsubstantial footing, I see clearly, alone.

Is it just me or by the amount of people on here who know Eastbourne it's actually more popular than London?

A sort of Milliways by the sea?

Buy them now. Buy them. Buy them. And then post piccies to annoy the plebs in Po Face who don't have them and get jealous over people having cool stuff like deep sections or Spinergys or Dirk.

Are you as quick as a fat man on a second hand bike who races Cat 4 on a computer because no one is as quick as that.

They're nowt special, just Wiggle's proprietary wheels. They will definitely go whoosh. Other people's deep wheels go whoosh, while I'm overtaking them on my normal wheels.

No worse than Planet X/Hunt/Chinarello and all that jazz. So long as they go whoosh and are 60mm deep with tubs they are worth every penny.

£9 BBB carbon pads also work well good and are a bargain.

Discs, no need for carbon pads. Only 50mm deep, and though tubeless compatible, I will probably run them with tubes.

Oooooh - sweet. Any pics of your burds norks while we're talking about wheels? Failing that, sister/cousin/au pair/work colleagues?

Failing that, link to the wheels themselves so we can drool at carbon.
