Movistar should only take Valverde to France if he is happy to work solely as domestique. Agree Bertie should call it a day. Quintana will be thinking at home that he is not the only one who is a bit off top form. Bardet two mins off - doesn't bode well.

With hindsight (although Laurent Jalabert was critical even as it happened), Porte should not have waited with Froome while the other GC guys went up the road. I wonder why he did that. Simply underestimated Fuglsang?
