I am in too much pain to even have the traditional cure to all ills - a bag of frozen peas - on my knee.

I think that this time I have well and truly stuffed it.
    Go see a doctor?

Nah - bunch of quacks. What do they know, eh?

Anyway, that would disturb my sitting in the sun drinking beer whinging about my utterly stuffed knee.

Now I know how Douglas Bader felt but I'm in more pain.

Aaah, difficult not stiff. Why didn't you say so. ;-)
Glorious out. Off to the pub in just over half an hour. I shall aim for a slow pootle so as not to arrive a sweaty mess.

    Hi HD, waves
Been to the pub and drank lager beer, too hot for real ale. Quick shower and off to a barbecue and more beer.
It may be hot, but it's a bit blowy out there.

You may not have come to the best place for sympathy...

Seriously though, sounds quite bad - do you think you've done your ligaments or something?

Going for mcl damage or miniscus.

Either way it bloody hurts. I won't cry though because that's what communters, prosecco drinkers and girls do.

Having a Jever in Cov, with Giro highlights. Bliss, no family, no mother, but brother over for a beer shortly. I heard someone hurt their knee? I have pro style sunburn lines going on after spending 3 hours on the bike. 2 hours pre work, then lunchtime ride home. Then 3 hours to travel 100 miles in the car. B0llocks.

Dunno, heard whining noises on my car radio. Thought it was my dog moaning about the traffic, but seems it was a man on the internet invading all available airwaves.

I got sunburn on my wrist and back of my neck. Out in the ppark with the kids, all day. The boy one fell asleep on the couch at about 6.30, so was carried to bed.

Naaaahhhh. Some of that apple juice that Stevo recommends. Had a botlle, don't think I'll manage the second one.

Tell me about it. Went to watch the girl one perform in the school assembly this morning, but had to leave half way through because the boy one wouldn't stop arsing about.

Result - you showed up, got seen but managed to save part of your life because someone else was messing about.
