Saddle height

Over many years and slight tweaking, I have been happy with my fit. About a month ago I was aggravating hams and getting right knee pain, this led to back pain.
I adjusted my saddle down about 5mm and all has been good for about 200 miles.
Have I found the answer or has my body got fitter, confused as to why I have had to lower the saddle - nothing else has changed in my setup.

Funny that...I'm 47 and the exact same thing happened me last year. After having my saddle at the same height for the last 4 or 5 years, I started getting knee pain last year. I lowered the saddle about 5/6mm and its been perfect ever since and I've left it at that height. :idea:0 -
Apart from shrinking you will also be gradually losing flexibility which also has an impact.
On the upside you can now have a really good mid life crisis, Bimbo, drugs etc.0 -
