    Just use insta weld or whatever that stuff is called that comes in a tube.

    Better than actual weld it says on the packet. Stronger, easier to use, no risk or arc eye and no having to go and see someone who'll go "oooh aaaaarrrrr <sharp intake of breath> at your bike.

    You can also do whatever you want to the bike in the comfort of your own front room.

    Winner winner roast pork supper, as they say.
