Pinching Rich's blurb to get this, no longer a shoot small race thread, up and running.
I almost wrote "Soilers" in the thread title and thought it quite appropriate, given the weather forecast.

Next up it's the white roads of the Siena area.

The women's race is live on the Eurosport player at 11-25am UK time.
Men's race coverage to be found any time after 12-35pm, as that is when Rai open up with their usually long, race chat.

Always think this race dines out on that stage from the giro back in 2010 without ever really delivering.

Opposite of Rich. I hope it drags on a bit so I can get out on my bike and get back in to see some of it.

Mads Pedersen, one of my FSA fantasy team (picked due to great name), makes his debut as pro today. Good way to kick off your career.

I think over the last few years it's offered consistently great racing. The route's selective and the finale is usually exciting. Also it looks fantastic - what more do you want? :)

According to the Eurosport TV schedule it's only on from 1-2:30 in the UK - bit optimistic?

    Extremely.
The Eurosport player schedule is due to finish at 3-15pm, if that's anything to go by.
Their live coverage of the women's race is so far a no show....

I'm watching the women's race live on Eurosport Player now - no commentary though.

It's wet - it looks grim. Hopefully should get some great racing!

Looks from the schedule on the app like you'll be able to watch the live feed from the event before it comes onto Eurosport 2.

Currently showing highlights of the womens, no commentary. Channel's just called "UCI"

Should be on Eurosport player in less than 15 minutes. Crash in the Peloton has brought down EBH, among others.

Pinot still doesn’t look too happy going downhill. At least on soggy dirty roads.

He never looks that thrilled. Are FDJ on SRAM etap again - cos the marketing guys will not be happy with the pictures of TiboPino smashing his bars in frustration again as his rear mech stopped; although the shots of the mechanic leaning out of the car and across the bike to fix it on the move were pretty good!

Boassen Hagen back on the chasing group - some heavyweights in that group.

And EBH isn't. Dumoulin having a go as he wasn't coming through.
