    CJCP too! ^ old school.

Saw our former mod whyamihere active the other day, was going to pop him a message, nice guy.

Him and Attica are I think the only forumers I've met IRL

    Yeah, where did whyamihere go?

Whyamihere was doing a degree in fizzicks so he's probably a nuculer siencer by now.

He's got the same MTB as me though, so he must have mountains of student debt

Ah, that's right - I remember the discussion about the firery yellow ball in the sky, and how it wasn't actually yellow etc.

    What about Linsen?
Popette I remember too, but she dissapeared.

There was also a LOT of excitement when a hot, and apparently bi, umm bicyclist posted looking for lots of advice as a newbie.
Seem to recall she had a Bianchi.
She got hounded out pretty soon I think.

Good, at least he made it then.
Others don't post as much as they used to, I presume circumstances change and people may have less time on their hands. Keyser Soze doesn't post as much these days, but a quality post in this thread. The Gregs, NSB, LiT (in the US now), EKE, Mudcow, SimonAH, Menthel and many many more. I don't think RJS had posted in quite a while, but has been active on the Brexit and Trump threads in Cake Stop, maybe he's stopped commuting? Funnily enough the Receptionist thread was mentioned over there recently.
Wotcher! Yes, I have been getting a bit sucked in to the political threads over there. Slightly less tribal crowd over this side, but I do miss some of the more OT stuff in Commuting Chat. DDD's posts about hair removal were the stuff of legend.

You are correct on the drop off in cycle commuting, but this should be just temporary.

According to Strava, we've ridden with each other on the commute, but no idea it was you without that greyish-blueish old skool Giant you had.

Yes, just an unfortunate string of colds, work commitments and mechanical issues. Need to get back on two wheels as PT (take your pick from Southern, Thameslink or the Northern Line) is making me cranky and fat.

Yes that was him, I couldn't remember his username last night.

Is GTV still about? Used to crack me up, how ashamed he was of that fight he was always telling us about.

I googled something a bit ago and and old thread from here came up, some good advice back then, shame it's got a bit out of date now.

Not seen Il Principe for a while... but then I haven't been on much myself, lately.

And not heard anything from OptimisticBiker, lately. Hope he's doing well.

IP doesn't commute anymore - lives out in the boonies, and is significantly faster for it based on his TT times and Strava feed.

Jzed doesn't commute either. I think he broke the road.

    Yes, where did GTV go?!

Very odd. I've never been on Strava and tend to run up through Streatham and Brixton, or along CS7 these days.

Spooky! Well, get back riding soon.

More names for you: Clarkey Cat and Vermin.

Vermin disappeared up north, but no idea where CC went.

CCs new job meant he was commuting too far. Plus his wife had twins boys to add the one they had already so he's got his hands full.

He's coaching under 7s rugby on a Sunday too so no club runs for him either
