I'm so pleased he can still turn on at this level. He's been stand out for years.0 -
Such a shame to lose Joost, such a loss.bendertherobot wrote:Crazyjenkins01 wrote:Not bad logic but I cant quite agree.
Scotland beat France and Italy but lose to Wales (just a feeling), England win in Cardiff (but not a runaway) as they just seem to be able to win by any means at the moment, and beat Italy, then face Ireland on final weekend which decides the order. I still think England win, putting Scotland 2nd.
An Irish win would then mean the bonus points come into play for the top 3.
It's the 6N. There's no logic
That is an EXCELLENT point.Bossnut - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13069531

I just hope Italy win a match. Very glad I didn't send a message to a Welsh friend at half time, the only reason I didn't is that I was pretty sure Italy would have a poor second half.0

Italy may have a bad year. They are in transition now with a new coach so may well take a bit of time to get used to the new structures and game planBossnut - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13069531

Unfortunately not, which is a great shame as the game was really on the up not so long ago.Bossnut - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13069531

There are other benefits to the rise of rugby in Padova particularly. There is a good beer shop that is something to do with the rugby club and there is a new local brewery. Unfortunately the British beer they had on promotion in the shop when we visited was Tennents, my sister and I had a go at the guy and tried to tell him what a poor choice that was, he agreed and said his boss had told him he had to do it.0

It was that year they rolled over us jocks in the 1st 20 mins with 3 tries, that people started to take note.0 -

Prior to entering the 6N in 200) Italy had beaten every one of the then 5N sides with the exception of England. They had two magnificent players that made those wins possible. A back row player called (something) like Giovanelli with curly hair and mad eyes who had to retire due to head injuries and an incredible winger called Vicari/Vaccari(?)
Both finished playing as soon as Italy got entry to the 6N which was a shame.
I think if Italy could play for 80 minutes, they could beat most sides but they do seem to fade around the hour.
Lets not forget they beat SA in the Autumn.
Anyway, I'm off to Cardiff on Saturday . . . think that will be close.Wilier Izoard XP0 -
Can't believe this got pulled . . .

It's a bit rubbish and lacking in any intelligence. We've done some bloody great stuff in the past. So, it's also a bit parochial.
That said, it really isn't bordering on racism in the slightest......My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Agree. It is rubbish, has BBC Wales run out of ideas (a bit like the team)? The most offensive thing about it is the disappointment after many years of fun and silliness.
Check out 2012 'History in the Making' on Youtube, very funny.0 -
So roof open v roof closed. Thats 1-0 to England then ...0

I don't get the roof thing. All away teams have a say over the roof being open or closed. Why does England make such a song and dance about it? Guess it's roof envy or something.0 -
Is it because Eddie Jones is a tw*t?0

Yeah, good coach tho', pulled England out of the sh*t.0 -

As a Welshman, that's the main reason I think he's a tw*t0 -
Wales huffed and they puffed but England blew the house down!
Too many kicks to midfield, and too many passes to stationary players from Wales. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Great game, both teams played well. Wish Wales won tho'.0

When test match rugby is that good it takes some beating. Up there with a decisive battle in a Grand tour mountain stage and a cricket test that comes down to the last couple of overs.0
-
Another great win for England, also a great contest between two evenly matched teams!
Next round should be a fairly straightforward match for England against Italy and I think a few changes should be made, particularly Dylan Hartley and Mike Brown, anyway should be fun as I've tickets for HQ for the game, can't wait!0 -
Good game, best I've seen Wales play for a couple of years and finally showing signs of a new game plan but they failed to take too many chances. A draw would have probably been a fair result. Well refereed too.0

Howley leaving more of a mark maybe, rather than just a contiuation of what Gatland was doing.0

1st half between Scotland and France has been cracking so far, I get the feeling that if Scotland can stay in touch for the first twenty minutes of the second half then I think that this huge French team will tire badly!0
